{Rachel & Nick}

Some couples just stand out...this is one of them. We had such a good time taking these photos and I loved being a part of their day and hearing their story. Lots of laughs were had!

Nick's Hometown: Brownsburg, IN

Rachel's Hometown: I'm originally from Kentucky, but moved to Avon when I was 13

Wedding: July 19th, 2014 at the Pavillion in Avon.

How did you meet?

        He worked with Jessica at Jimmy Johns and she introduced us. She had me go to one of his covington concerts. I met him there and I was totally interested in him, but he was not interested in any girls at the time because of a previous relationship. So I didn't see or talk to him for months after that. A few months later some of my friends planned a bonfire and Jess said she invited people from work and Nick was one of them. We talked for a while and kicked a soccer ball around for a little bit. After that night we kind of started to talk to each other. I went to his house one day to hang out and he was showing me some of his music technology projects from school he had worked on and while he was showing me I got this huge flood of peace that came over me and in that moment I knew I was gonna marry this guy. I went home and told my mom about it and she thought I was crazy, but sure enough a little over a year later he asked me to marry him.

How did he ask?!

        It was on our one year anniversary. We had planned for Jessica to take pictures of us just because she likes taking pictures and we thought it would be cool to have some pictures. We walked all over downtown taking pictures and then we went to the canal to take some and we got up on this bridge and he said to Jessica, "Let's do the picture we talked about at work." So she had me lean up against the railing facing the camera and she told Nick to kiss me. As he leaned in to kiss me he put the ring behind his back and after she took the picture he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I was totally surprised and not expecting it! 

Nick what is your favorite thing about Rachel?

        How she is so loving and kind. She never over reacts. She's always happy to see me no matter what. How passionate she gets with things she cares about. How pretty she is and how she stands out from everyone else. How she would drop anything she's doing to help me with something no matter what it is.She is  always there for me.  

Rachel what is your favorite thing about Nick?

         How obvious he makes it that he's so in love with me and not in any way interested in other girls. How much I can trust him. How we never fight. How understanding he is. I love that he can sing and play guitar. How attractive he is in not only looks, but personality too. That he always tries to make me happy and can always make me laugh. That we can be together 24/7 and never get tired of being with each other.
